At Briarwood Farms, every day is an adventure. Sometimes heartwarming, sometimes chaotic, and always filled with puppy love. We are more than just a breeding program; we are a family that puts our hearts into raising the best puppies with excellent health, temperament, and structure. Whether its whelping a new litter, socializing puppies, or even accidentally setting the lawn on fire (oops, more on that later), life at Briarwood Farms is never dull!
Let’s introduce the team that makes it all happen.
Meet the Crew
Me (The Boss, Sort Of) I handle the business side of things, puppy sales, customer relations, and making sure everything runs smoothly. My heart is in the structure of the program, ensuring we raise dogs that are not only adorable but also well-bred and ethically raised.
Sherri (The Glue That Holds Us Together) Sherri is the backbone of Briarwood Farms. She keeps everything in order, from puppy socialization to cleaning and organizing. If there is a problem, Sherri is already three steps ahead, fixing it before anyone notices.
Aliya (The Young Hustler) At just 17, Leeya works hard to care for our puppies. She’s learning the ropes of responsible breeding and helps keep our little furballs happy and healthy.
Together, we are a small but mighty team dedicated to raising exceptional puppies with love and integrity.
Puppies, Chaos, and Fire Hazards
Life on a farm means unexpected challenges. This week, for example, we were burning some boxes from puppy shipments. A normal, routine task until the fire got a little too enthusiastic and decided to spread to the lawn. Picture us frantically stomping, throwing water, and possibly shrieking a little. No major damage (thank goodness!), but let’s just say we learned a valuable lesson: fire extinguishers should be closer than the hose.
These are the moments that make Briarwood Farms what it is, real, messy, and full of laughter (and maybe some mild panic).
The Puppies That Steal Our Hearts
Right now, we have an adorable litter of Aussie Mountain Doodles who are four weeks old and thriving with their mama. Watching them grow and develop personalities is the best part of our job.
Then, of course, we have our Bernedoodles, who will always hold a special place in our hearts. This whole journey started with Barrons, our 140-pound Bernese Mountain Dog, whose loving temperament and service work for my mother-in-law inspired our breeding program. His legacy lives on in every Bernedoodle we raise.
And let’s not forget the Cavapoos, the ultimate lap dogs and Velcro dogs. If you want a companion who will follow you everywhere and love you unconditionally, a Cavapoo is your dream dog. They’re sweet, affectionate, and the perfect cuddle buddies.
